Innovation and Support Center provides a rich support services to government entities. These services are classified as three services:

Technical Support.
Environment Health Checks and Remediation Plan.
Workshops.

ISC offers an Environment Health Check for government entities to

Assess the Operational health of government entities infrastructure
Identifies current and potential problems
Physically audit machines
Technology specific
Look at configurations, Patch levels, Event logs

The government entity will get benefits from this service by:

Provide proactive not reactive approach to problems

Technical Support:

Government entity can raise a support incident for any Microsoft product by calling 24166777 or e-mail support@isc.gov.om . ISC will follow reactive problem resolution procedure to deliver a high quality service. After resolving the issue ISC engineers prepare a technical briefing and Knowledge base article about the issue to be delivered to other government entities.

Workshops:

ISC delivers workshops for government entities in Microsoft technology to transfer skills and knowledge to IT engineers in these government entities. Beside that ISC aims from these workshops to improve the ability to act proactively.

These workshops are graded by technical level from 100 to 400 and with real world examples and experiences – “ hand-on” labs.
